Gerald “Jerry” Groves, 76, died at his home July 5, 2016. 
He was born April 9th, 1940 in Higginsville to Carl and Mildred (Clark) Groves
He married Rosemary Niemeyer April 4, 1964 in Kansas City, MO.
Jerry graduated from Higginsville High and attended college in Warrensburg for two years. He was a Teamsters truck driver for 35 years. He and Rosemary enjoyed traveling to Arizona the past 15 years.
He is preceded in death by a 2 year old brother, Milton Leslie Groves and his parents.

12 Great Grandchildren Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 8th at 2:00 pm at the Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend James Short.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral
