Ken Wilsie, 70, of Concordia, died December 1st at St. Luke’s on the plaza. 

He was born October 23, 1947 in Cass City, Michigan to Floyd and Maxine (McDurmon) Wilsie.

He married Laretta Wells on July 14, 1991 in Chillicothe. 

Ken was a special educator at the Higginsville Habilitation Center, where he started the Boy Scout program, and at Rolling Meadow School, from which he retired. He was also a paramedic and a bus monitor for the Rolling Meadow School.

He enjoyed bowling, old westerns and wood carving. 

He is survived by:

                 Wesley Wilsie               of Concordia
Daughter:    Kandace Wells             of Concordia 

8 Grandchildren:   Dallas, Sky, Carlie, DaShawn, Amere, Jacey, Hailey, Logan Wilsie 

Visitation will be held from Monday, Dec. 4th from 5-8 pm at the Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home, in Higginsville

Graveside services will be held Tues, Dec. 5th at 3:00 pm at the City Cemetery in Higginsville, officiated by Pastor Bill Virgin of the Life Christian Center.

Casket Bearers will be Mike Rogers, Ernie Johnson, Jason Wells, Mike Wells, David Kesten, Remington Kesten, Dru Felkins, Ed Irelan

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Harold Griffel, Jim Parsell, Doug Murray, Jordan Salyer, Donnie Homfeld
