Jerrolyn “Jerry” Parker, 77, of Raytown, died March 15, 2021 at St. Luke’s East.
She was born July 2, 1943 to John and Helen (Britton) Allen. They lived in Excelsior Springs in her early years then Richmond where she graduated High School. On March 10th, 1963 she married Raymond Parker in Richmond and made their first home Lexington. While there she worked at Wentworth Military Academy. They moved to Higginsville then Trenton, where she would start her career at Mercantile Bank. They moved to Liberty in 1985, and she continued to be employed by Mercantile for many years. Their next move was to Excelsior Springs, where they lived for over 20 years. Later in her career she transferred to Security Bank where she flourished as a commercial loan officer until retirement. To be closer to family they relocated to Lee’s Summit then Raytown.
Along the way Jerrolyn earned a paralegal degree from William Jewell College. While in Higginsville they became active in the First Baptist Church and continued their lifelong ministering of Christ while living in Trenton and Excelsior Springs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Patricia Gardner and son in law, Denny Smith.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 19th at 10:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, officiated by Dr. Greg Fine of the First Baptist Church.
