Blanche Lee, 85, of Higginsville, died August 18th at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Concordia.
She was born October 14, 1932, in Silva, MO, to Luther and Elsie (Bridges) Woolard.
She graduated from Puxico, MO high school on May 6, 1949. She married Albert Lee on August 4, 1951. He preceded her in death on November 10, 2012
Blanche was a homemaker as well as a caretaker for an elderly neighbor for many years.
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the ABWA of Higginsville, and an active worker in the office of the Foster Grandparent Program.
She is also preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Winfred Woolard; sister, Wanda Jackson; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Lee.

Great Grandchildren: Reagan Reinshuttle and Baby Reinshuttle #2 due in September
A Celebration of Her Life will take place on Sunday, October 14th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Concordia.
She has donated her body to medical science and her cremated remains will be entombed at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
