Winnie Carol (Dryer) Knehans, 90, of Higginsville, died October 30th at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Concordia.
She was born April 6, 1929 in Wellington, MO to Francis and Pearl (Mitchell) Dryer
Winnie married Homer Knehans on February 19, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2016
Winnie grew up on Dryer family farm. With her marriage to Homer, she became a career homemaker and farmer's wife after having also worked at the local shoe factory and as a local bank teller. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ and American Legion Auxiliary. Winnie and Homer continued their special loves for family, country music, dancing and playing cards throughout their lives together.
In addition to Homer, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Les, Lorry, John (JD) and Roger Dryer; and a sister, Doris Triplett.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 10:30 am at the Salem United Church of Christ in Higginsville, officiated by Dr. Tommy Faris.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral
She will be buried at the Salem UCC Cemetery
