Glenda LaVerne Johnson, 71, of Higginsville, died October 26th at the Meyer Care Center 

She was born September 25, 1946 in Collins, MO to Ernest and Anna McCoy.  

She married James “Red” Johnson July 17, 1976 in Ballwin, MO. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1998. She moved back to Higginsville in 2000.

She started working at age 16 and retired at age 40 from her job as a waitress.
She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Portageville, MO.  

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by:

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 30th at 2:00 pm at the Higginsville City Cemetery, officiated by Dennis Million
