Nancy Ann Halterman, 86, of Higginsville, formerly of Richmond, died February 20th at the Meyer Care Center.
She was born January 24, 1933 in Bogard, MO to Lewis and Lylbern (Knipschild) Vance
She grew up in Bogard and Norborne. She married James Raymond Halterman, Jr. on June 19, 1949 at the First Baptist Church in Norborne. They moved to Richmond and lived there for many years. They moved to Higginsville in 1981. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1998.
She was always active in church, wherever they lived, serving as a church organist, Sunday school teacher, and singing for weddings and funerals.
Nancy was a beautician and had her own salon for many years. She also was a group home leader for the Higginsville Habilitation Center, and a farm wife.
She is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lewis Vance and a granddaughter, Kelli Halterman.

Dr. Robert Lewis Halterman (Bettie) of Branson, MO
Daughter: Valerie Ann Wagner (Don) of Higginsville

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Higginsville, officiated by Dr. Greg Fine.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
She will be buried in the Coloma Cemetery in Coloma, Missouri
