Linda Kay Franklin, 75, of Corder, died December 15th at her home.
She was born June 3, 1944 to Melvin and Amelia (Holthoff) Rose.
She married Raymond Franklin July 12, 1963 in Alma. They divorced prior to his death in 2014.
Linda grew up in Corder. She lived most of her adult life in Higginsville and ran a babysitting service from her home. She worked at the Habilitation Center, and retired after 24 years. She moved back to Corder, to the house in which she had been born.
She was very active in church and community. She was member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Dorcas Society. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Corder Community Club, Young at Heart, Good Friends and Neighbors of Waverly.
Linda is preceded in death by sisters, Edith Schowengerdt, Wanda Crawford, Mae Wills; granddaughter, Jessica Boland.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 19th at 9:30 am at Zion Lutheran Church, in Corder.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Mark Junkin.
She will be buried in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
